Purpose in the text
Riches, honour and abundant wealth are attributed to the fourth pentacle and its angel Bariel. Its notice prescribes silver and a day and hour of Jupiter when Jupiter is in Cancer. [1]
The diagram and its inscriptions
A small divided square sits within a circular scriptural band. The editor identifies IH, Adoniel and Bariel, with Psalm 112:3 at the circumference. [1]
Reading the design
Bariel’s letters occupy the small four-part square, beneath IH and beside Adoniel. The surrounding Psalm 112:3 also appears with the second Jupiter pentacle. The shared verse links both designs to wealth, while the names, geometry and material prescription distinguish the two notices. [1]
