Goetia 1904
Scot calls the duke Eligor or Abigor and equips the knight with a lance, an ensign and a sceptre. The 1904 Goetia gives Eligos a lance, an ensign and a serpent. The sixty-legion command and the martial setting remain the same, while the final object in his equipment changes. [2][1]
Scot gives Eligor knowledge of hidden matters, wars, soldiers’ meetings and future events. Favour from lords and knights complements his armed appearance and places his influence among military and noble households. The Goetia expresses that social office as obtaining the love of lords and great people. [2][1]
